Directions to Madaket Marine on Nantucket and Harkers Island N.C.
Town to Madaket Marine
 Leave town headed east on Cliff Road. Follow Cliff Road until it intersects with Madaket Road (intersection with a yield sign). Turn right onto Madaket Road (Eel Point Road will be directly on your right when you get onto Madaket Road). Continue on Madaket Road, past the dump on left, past Long Pond twice, road bares right after pond, continue another mile through a lose s-turn, prepare to make a right hand turn. On the right after the s-turn is South Cambridge Street, with a Madaket Marine sign. Turn right and follow road to marina. If coming early in the morning please park by the buldings; if fishing mid-morning or afternoon, park on the grass to the right as you enter.
Rotary to Madaket Marine
 Leave the rotary headed toward Madaket and Stop&Shop. Pass Stop&Shop and Nantucket Tackle on your right and come to the intersetion by the high school. Go straight through(actually a quick right then left) past the Hospital on your left and over the hill past the wind mill on right. At the second stop sign turn left. You are now on Madaket Road.(If there is a large cemetry on the left you are on Hummock Pond Road, go back to the stop sign, turn left and then left at the next stop). Once on Madaket Road continue straight past the dump on left, past Long Pond twice, road bares right after pond, continue another mile through a lose s-turn, prepare to make a right hand turn. On the right after the s-turn is South Cambridge Street, with a Madaket Marine sign. Turn right and follow road to marina. If coming early in the morning please park by the buldings; if fishing mid-morning or afternoon, park on the grass to the right as you enter.
Getting to North Carolina
 Fly into the New Bern regional airport. New Bern is located 50 minutes from Harkers Island and 35 minutes from Beaufort. Leaving from the airport, head east on Route 70 toward Morehead City and Beaufort. It is around 25 miles to Morehead. Once in Morehead continue on 70 over the causeway and onto Radio Island, stay straight over a little draw bridge. You are now in Beaufort. Beaufort offers the most lodging and dining options. I recommend that you stay here, it is a 20 minute drive to Harkers Island Fishing Center. In the past clients have stayed at the following: the Inlet Inn, the Beaufort Inn, and the Cedars.
Beaufort to Harkers Island
 Leave Beaufort on Route 70 east. Follow this road through stop signs and strip malls. Once outside of Beaufort you will pass the Post Office and Food Lion on the left. Continue on 70, once you pass the high school on left, take the next right, this is still Route 70. Follow this road over some small bridges and past some swamps. The road will eventually take a hard left, on the right will be a gas station, (it's a BP, but that may change) there are signs to Harkers Island here. Take the right at the gas station and stay on this road, go over a bridge onto Harkers Island. Stay on Island Road, bare hard left and follow the water. You will come to the Harkers Island Fishing Center on the right. Park in the outer lot by the road, I will meet you down by the water.
